Ann’s blog a few days ago really hit me…
and I thought about how true it was when she wrote:
“When did we become so disconnected from our own being, our own humanity, that growing food for our own bodies, for our very survival, became an act for the intellectually ignorant?”
I thought about it, and we do. We don’t see farming as a big thing, as a worthy profession.
You all know that I am not a country girl. But the way that Ann writes about it, about how she, a farmer’s wife, sees this, I was amazed!
