Hey there...

Well, I must say that I am very grateful that today is cooler. I don't know about the rest of you, but I LOVE cool days, with sun and some clouds. (Okay, so today there are more than Some clouds.) ;)
Today I will be going to visit my grandparents, having lunch and swimming in the pool across the street. Mary Joy is really excited to swim. I think that my cousins will be there too, but I'm not sure.
One of my favorite songs is Hosanna by Christy Nockels. I'm listening to it right now! Look it up!
My sad sack of a dog is mopey right now because no one will play with her. Love That Dog!
I get to go to camp in a few weeks!!!! I am super excited to get up there. Lizzy went over the Fourth of July while I was in Philly. I can't wait!
I don't have anything else to talk about, so see ya!

Trout Lake

Hey there Y'all!
I just wanted to say hey.
And talk about an amazing Christian camp in northern Minnesota called Trout Lake Camp. They are an awesome camp that really strives to draw kids and adults alike closer to the Lord. I personally have worked up there and love love love it. This year will be my 6th summer up there. I actually accepted Christ at Trout Lake.
I won't ramble on and on about it. If you would like to know more, please check out there website or call me.

I've got to go get ready for a get together. See ya!

Hey there everyone!
I just returned from a great weekend of fun and play with my family and friends at the Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant and such in southern Minnesota. What Fun! I had a great time exploring the great sites that are around that area. We visited the sod house and Walnut Grove. That was a blast. I really enjoyed the sod house because it showed you really well how they lived back then on the prairie. The Jeffers Petroglyphs were fun as well. It was really awesome to see all the writings and initials from the late 1800's. I also loved that they think that Laura and Mary played on these rocks where the Petroglyphs were while they were traveling.
My dad is trying to replace the door closer on one of our doors. He is very happy to have returned the more expensive one and get one that cost him only $13.
This is slightly random, but have you heard of the movie Fireproof? It is an amazing movie about fireproofing your marriage. I really liked it, and the man who played the main role of Caleb who is also a strong Christian and speaker, Kirk Cameron, did an amazing job. I wonder if it was hard for him to be mean in the beginning scenes. Anywho, here's the movie website. I encourage you to check it out. http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/
Alright. See Ya!!

I'm Back!

Hey there Everyone! I have just returned from Philadelphia and I had an absolute blast!
Here are some of my favorite pictures:
(This is really what they look like, not just an optical illusion)
Hey there y'all! (as they say in Philly)
I made it! I had the most amazing time in Philadelphia! God totally worked through us this last week in more ways than I have time to list. Here's the blog site of where we were at: http://philadelphia.myadventures.org/ There are a lot of cool testimonies on there about our week in Philly. We are Cross of Glory Baptist Church.
I had such a fun time! If you would like more info on the trip or to see more pictures, let me know! I would love to share about our time down in Philadelphia.
In Christ,

For those of you who can't read it, this is the verse:
"I am convinced that neither death nor life,  neither angels or demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-Paul, Romans 8:38-39

Philadelphia

Hello there to all of you who read my blog.
On Friday morning, I will be leaving for Philadelphia, PA.
I am going on a missions trip with a group from my church.
There are 20 people total going from my church.
We will be in Philadelphia for about a week serving those in need in the inner city for Christ mainly through a VBS and community gatherings.
Please pray that we would have unity as a group, patience, and peace.
(Also, pray that we would survive the l-o-n-g car ride to and from Philadelphia). :)
To God be the Glory,
Kaye Ann Silver

Untitled

Hello there and a happy Wednesday to you!
I am sitting here listening to the sounds of construction as our neighbors basically double the size of their house. The house will be absolutely gorgeous when it's finished. I can't wait to see what it looks like. I can tell that they want it done, and soon because lately they've been working from 7 am to 9 or even 10 in the evening.
My sister Mary Joy just got her hair cut short. She looks a lot like the American Girl doll named Kit. I really like her with cute short hair. Lizzy May didn't want to get her hair cut. A few more inches and she'll be sitting on her hair! WOW!
Well, tonight I have a meeting that runs kind of late. That's alright though. I am excited any way.
This is kind of random, but when I was little, my grandparents bought me a Blue Spruce tree that is the same age as me. I was a worried about it last year because we were hit with a really nasty hail storm and the tree didn't look so good. The top was broken off of it. I was worried it wouldn't make it. But I was happily wrong. My tree looks great. The only sign of damage is the somewhat V shaped top that grew in place of the one that was broken off. I will tie them together and the tree should grow just fine.
Farewell!
